It's just an ice cream scoop

It does scoop ice cream as well as any other ice cream scoop. But I ordered it based on this claim which I proved to find false:
"CUTS THROUGH ROCK-HARD, FROZEN SOLID ICE CREAM LIKE WHIPPED CREAM ... with NO EFFORT "
Just an FYI it is very, very heavy
