Wow, after all the great reviews I was really expecting this to be the answer. Sadly, I don't think it's that great. I usually use a metal large spatula type that I got from meadowgold and it is far easier to use than this style. Perhaps if I was trying to scoop ice cream into a cone, this would be the better option, but for just scooping it out and getting it into the bowl with the least amount of effort, this isn't all that great to me.

This ia a great ice cream scoop. You can scoop the ice cream right out of the freezer.

I love it.works great and is so easy on your hand. Not at all like my last scoop. Buy one and scoop on.
