I had seen this in one of those lists of must-have items and it was inexpensive enough for me to give it a try. It was worth it, I can’t explain why or how it works so well but it seems to be weighted in the handle in such a way that it makes it easy to scoop even the most frozen ice creams.

I’ve been through 3 scoops this past summer. This one is a keeper. Heavy material, excellent ergonomic handle, dishwasher safe. Cuts right through hard ice cream and makes perfect size scoops for cones.
