I was surprised at what a difference the shape of the scoop makes in scooping hard ice cream. Even after several scoops when the scoop becomes cold, I am able to dig into the ice cream, form round scoops and release them to the bowl or cone. The purple color makes the scoop easy to find in the utensil drawer.

I really like this scooper. We have only had it for a short while so I can not say how it holds up. But I can say currently it’s great. Seems very sturdy and love the blue color. I highly recommend this scooper.

I’ve only used this scoop a few times but I was impressed the minute I opened the box. Like the description says it’s one piece of metal so there are no weak spots. Every other scoop I’ve ever had failed at a weak spot usually where the scoop attached to the handle. This thing is HEAVY and very sturdy. It’s made of quality metal so it won’t rust and the metal won’t flake. My last one was coated metal so the scoop began to flake and that not safe. The handle is wrapped with a very ergonomic comfortable rubber. It’s not too hard that it hurts and not to soft that it’ll fall apart. I’m very pleased with this product and I would recommend it to anyone in need of a good quality ice cream scoop!!
