Skeptical when I ordered, but it worked. Very surprised at the difference between this one and all the other ones I've used over the past 50 years. It has weight to it.

This is the greatest ice cream scoop ever! It is sturdy and can definitely handle hard ice cream.

We toyed with the idea of buying a new scoop that had the swing lever, but after reading some of the reviews of the SUMO scoop we decided to try it. I was surprised at how easily this scoop ploughs through the hard ice cream. Pleasantly surprised.. I heartily recommend this product.
