This scoop has some heft to it and seems like it will last. I had a similar style from a well known brand and the scoop broke off from the handle. This one scoops well and I am happy with the product.

This is a sleek looking, well made, easy to handle ice cream scoop! I love that is solid stainless steel--and does not have a coating that will chip off in time......I expect it will be the last scoop I have to buy!

I am 50 years old. I have used every style, shape and size ice cream scoop there is over the years. I had an oxo good grips last time thinking I'd pay up for better quality. The thing broke on me on a very hard frozen half gallon. That prompted me to search for this one. This time I searched for the highest rated. I am so glad I did! This ice cream scoop went through that same exact half gallon that broke the handle on my old one like a hot knife through butter! I mean it, I had absolutely no resistance. The grip has a great feel in the hand, it is a little heavy but that lends to its ability. This product is absolutely outstanding. You can not go wrong with this scoop! I couldn't be happier. In fact, I plan on buying these as stocking stuffers for my kids this year.

This ice cream scoop has made scooping ice cream a breeze. I use to use a metal spoon to scoop my ice cream and would see the spoon bend or have my hands hurt after scooping.
