Purchased this to replace an old and well used brand (private party kind) and was not disappointed! Fits great in the hand, washes very easily and got out hard ice cream first time...full scoop! Would buy as gifts for ice cream lovers! So far so good. Thanks Sumo.

The design of this scoop is excellent! It's large enough and heavy enough to make scooping even hard-frozen ice cream a breeze. The silicone hand grip allows for excellent control and comfort during use. One minor aesthetic quibble is that the silicone is subject to staining when in contact with tomato-based products.

This sweet ice-cream scooper comes beautifully boxed with an insert explaining the product, with contact information in case there is a problem. I couldn't believe the effort put into presenting this heavy, well-made and excellently designed product. It cut into my frozen ice cream like a champ (hint, you can rinse the head with hot water for a boost), made nice little half-orange shaped scoops, and was easy to hold with the lip for thumb placement to help with leverage. I'm using it all the time now that it's summer. A GREAT purchase and price!
