I needed an ice cream scoop, but did not want a plastic one or one with the scrape thing to get the ice cream off of the scoop (always breaks off eventually), basically, something sturdy and efficient. After reading all of these reviews, which many were hilarious, I gave the sumo a try and it was amazing! It gives you the perfect scoop of ice cream, like ice cream shop style, but less effort; it just glides through the ice cream. The scoop has a good weight to it and feels nice in your hand. It's super easy to wash. Plus, it's a really good price for the quality! I like it so much, I'm going to check out what other stuff sumo makes.

Solid, sturdy and colorful. Can easily scoop out extremely hard/frozen ice cream. Easy to handle

I was very impressed with the solidity and weight of this product. The actual scoop was smaller than I expected, but I have not had an ice cream scoop in decades!
