“I bought it to put my ice cream in when i make homemade ice cream. it fits nice in the door of my freezer. I should have bought two though. I didn't realize i'd get so much ice cream out of such a little cream and milk. The only thing is that it is so well insulated that i have to keep the lid off for about an hour until it freezes well enough to cover or it does not get firm. I had to cover it with wrap until it freezes then put on the lid.“

Bought for nice cream

Bought to store my nice cream and allow it to harden. The nice cream gets really hard but I leave it out for about 20 minutes then I can scoop it. The container fits nicely on the top shelf of my door.

Well designed and manufactured, but do you really want one?

The design is good, allowing the ice cream to fit snugly in the door of the freezer. I don't find any flaws in the manufacture either. It's true but irrelevant that the top is not tornado proof -- all it has to do is sit there, held on by gravity. I found, though, that I have little interest in making ice cream that is not any better than the "super-premium," more expensive stuff I can get in any grocery. So I give it fours stars for what it is, which is not what I want.

Great Ice Cream Container

I am very happy with the ice cream container. It is a good size for when you want to add mix-ins to an ice cream base recipe. It is easier to get homemade ice cream out of the oblong shape. I had no issues with the lid staying on properly. I would buy again.
