“I bought it to put my ice cream in when i make homemade ice cream. it fits nice in the door of my freezer. I should have bought two though. I didn't realize i'd get so much ice cream out of such a little cream and milk. The only thing is that it is so well insulated that i have to keep the lid off for about an hour until it freezes well enough to cover or it does not get firm. I had to cover it with wrap until it freezes then put on the lid.“

Works better than expected!

We were having a welcome home soldier party for a family member. I made three flavors of ice cream (red, white, blue). One was in a loaf pan, and the other two were these SUMO ice cream containers. The one in the loaf pan melted straight away, but the other two stayed solid for four times longer! The long shape makes it easy to use a regular spoon to create those beautiful round scoops of ice cream. And the shape is easy to store in the freezer! Then when the ice cream was gone, we disassembled the tub pieces, washed thoroughly and made some more!! One tip is to press a sheet of parchment paper directly onto the surface of your ice cream before sealing up, and you won't get crystals in your ice cream!

GREAT for keeping ice cream scoopable

Got it for freezing home made ice cream.
Excellent quality. works great; 3 piece construction easy to clean and reassemble.
Also found it perfect for transferring store bought ice cream from cartons. This way, all of our ice creams remain fresh and scoopable until the last bite!

Not good quality

Not too impressed with them. I thought they were ok then one of them cracked. And the kids don't fit tight. I will just go back to using the bowls I used before
