This sleek container fits in the shelf door of the freezer like a glove. I couldn't believe it would really hold 2 quarts of ice cream but it does. I love it and highly recommend to anyone who wants to make and store homemade ice cream.

We love this container so much that we have 2 of them (green and purple), with a blue one ordered. I’ve been making my own ice cream for decades, and this is THE container for homemade ice cream storage. I’ve tried all sorts of locking containers, and this one allows the least amount of ice crystal formation. It also keeps the ice cream at the perfect consistency, so it doesn’t get too hard. Lastly, the shape and size are the best for freezer storage and scooping. Oh yeah, and I just pop everything into the dishwasher for cleaning. Lastly, Sumo has AMAZING customer service. I wanted a blue container specifically, but it was out of stock for a couple of months. Keith told me that he’d email me as soon as they were back, as well as give me a little discount for waiting that long. I took his promise with a grain of salt, because most companies tell you things like that, but five years later, you still don’t hear from them. But Keith was absolutely true to his word, and my email came this morning! My blue container is now on its way to its mission of protecting my cake batter ice cream.
