Lid does not fit tight at all. Like everything else about this. Seems from other reviews this is an occasional defect. Hope to get better replacement.

This is the perfect container for homemade ice cream- fits in the door of the freezer, keeps ice cream the perfect consistency, no freezer burn. Loved it so much I bought 2 more!

It's a great idea that does not work. The tops do NOT form a tight seal. The top kind of rests in place. My homemade ice cream leaked out the top while I the freezer as it was on an angle. I made sure to clean the container grove, that the top was on correctly and pressed it firmly in place, but it will not seal. I also tried the second container (I got the 2 pack) and same thing. Ice Crystal's all over the top of a 2nd batch because of the lack of a seal. So I purchased the TAVOLO brand as a replacement and it works perfectly with a TIGHT seal. It's only $1 more

I have to give two-thumbs up for the seller for customer service! I wrote a question regarding replacement lids (100% my fault that the lids were damaged) and they sent it to me immediately upon me asking.
The product itself is also great - I love how stackable they are and how conveniently they can be placed in my freezer. Other containers with round shapes are inconvenient for storage. Plus this keeps my ice cream fresh! Highly recommend!
