This item appears to be high quality. I have now used it through one usage cycle. Dishwasher cleaning, Fill with homemade ice cream, Freeze homemade ice cream, Eat homemade ice cream scooped out of unit, Dishwasher cleaning. I have learned that it is best to separate the three pieces in the dishwasher. The first time I ran it through without separating the two base units and some water collected in the air space between them - easily fixed by separating before running through the dishwasher (recommend doing so on the top rack away from dishwasher heating coils). Can't comment on the long term storage of ice cream in the freezer because we ate it within two days. Curved design of interior makes for easy scooping using an ice cream scoop.

Easy to clean, nice container, however, it did not keep the ice cream creamy when I first made it. The lid is not a fitted/tightly closed lid, so the ice cream was icy.

Great containers, but the lids don’t form a real seal, they just sit in place. Allows crystals to form since it’s not fully closed.
