“I bought it to put my ice cream in when i make homemade ice cream. it fits nice in the door of my freezer. I should have bought two though. I didn't realize i'd get so much ice cream out of such a little cream and milk. The only thing is that it is so well insulated that i have to keep the lid off for about an hour until it freezes well enough to cover or it does not get firm. I had to cover it with wrap until it freezes then put on the lid.“

Lid keeps popping up

I recently bought a 1 quart ice cream maker and I needed ice cream containers. These have really great reviews, so I bought these. They clean well and I like the extra .5 space between the ice cream and the lid. At first these were a little clunky for me to use because I am not used to this type of ice cream container, but I now I do like that they are oblong for easier scooping. The downside is that the top lid will not fit snuggly. I'll press down on it and it will seem like it's in, but when I move the container to the freezer, I can see that the lid is not flush in the container and that is a little annoying as that little of air creates ice crystals on the ice cream.

Great customer service

Made my first batch of ice cream & used these containers. First they are perfect size, the narrow shape fits great in my freezer & they stack well. Unfortunately they did not seal properly. I emailed Sumo & much to my surprise I got an immediate response from them. They sent me a new set out that same day & they arrived in 3 days! The lady I emailed with updated me often, was professional and extremely polite. My new containers seal great & I couldn’t be happier for my family who loves homemade ice cream!

Ice cream containers

Product is perfect for home made ice cream. Company is great, professional and prompt when I was lacking one lid. The replacement was here within 3 days. Very committed to pleasing their customers!
