“I bought it to put my ice cream in when i make homemade ice cream. it fits nice in the door of my freezer. I should have bought two though. I didn't realize i'd get so much ice cream out of such a little cream and milk. The only thing is that it is so well insulated that i have to keep the lid off for about an hour until it freezes well enough to cover or it does not get firm. I had to cover it with wrap until it freezes then put on the lid.“

Lid does not fit snuggly / SUMO customer service nothing but form letter responses

Very frustrating purchase. My partner has an identical item made by Tevolo whose lid fits snuggly. The SUMO product's lid does not lock into the base and falls out if you move the unit tilting it even a tiny bit. I contacted SUMO's customer support to let them know of the problem. Someone wrote back to me immediately (which seemed good) and told me to send my Amazon order number so they could help me further. I did that, and then they responded to me with the same 'form' letter they had sent before, again asking for my Amazon order number which I already sent them. When I responded again to this form letter saying, I'd already sent the Amazon order number they never responded. I would not buy a SUMO product again 1) because of the shoddy workmanship (an ice cream tub should have a lid which locks in place) and 2) because of the the impersonal and ultimately unhelpful customer service responses.
