“I bought it to put my ice cream in when i make homemade ice cream. it fits nice in the door of my freezer. I should have bought two though. I didn't realize i'd get so much ice cream out of such a little cream and milk. The only thing is that it is so well insulated that i have to keep the lid off for about an hour until it freezes well enough to cover or it does not get firm. I had to cover it with wrap until it freezes then put on the lid.“

Infrequently available in the UK, but hoping that'll change

Quite expensive, but good kitchen things never come cheap. They are very good and make scooping easier because you have its length to work with. I fear dropping one because I doubt it'd survive without cracking - all the weight of the ice cream in a plastic container doesn't have the odds in its favour when dropped onto tiles. I researched these and went for the Sumo, which I've only managed to get from Amazon UK once because it's a USA product; however, the seemingly equivalent product that's more freely available (Tivolo, or some name similar) does look identical, but didn't review as well when I researched it. I have 2 and could use 2 more; I'm hanging in there for more Sumos to become available on Amazon UK; otherwise, I may end up giving the other product a shot.

Good product

Perfectly holds 1.5 quart ice cream. Comes apart easily for ease of cleaning.

Awesome. Love these. Going to get as a gift for my mom now.

These work great to keep home made ice cream from getting ice crystals. Easy to clean and store.
