“I bought it to put my ice cream in when i make homemade ice cream. it fits nice in the door of my freezer. I should have bought two though. I didn't realize i'd get so much ice cream out of such a little cream and milk. The only thing is that it is so well insulated that i have to keep the lid off for about an hour until it freezes well enough to cover or it does not get firm. I had to cover it with wrap until it freezes then put on the lid.“

No freezer burn

This keeps the ice cream soft and scoopable right from the freezer! No freezer burn either. Works great with the soft serve ice cream maker we have.

Love the insulation

Love everything about these. I am in to ice cream/sorbet etc making. They are made very well . the colors are vibrant and the insulation helps keep finished product scoopable.

Honest review after one year of use

Unfortunately after one year of use, I would not recommend these ice cream containers. They are very difficult to take apart for cleaning, even for adults with stronger than average upper arm strength. Secondly unless it's extremely important for you to be able to store ice cream in your freezer door, I would not get these containers due to the oblong shape. The narrow opening makes it difficult to put ice cream inside the container without making a mess. In addition, I have found that storing ice cream in my freezer door makes it too soft serve, as my fridge is cooled from the back. In hindsight I would have shopped for normal pint size containers that are easier to take apart.
