“I bought it to put my ice cream in when i make homemade ice cream. it fits nice in the door of my freezer. I should have bought two though. I didn't realize i'd get so much ice cream out of such a little cream and milk. The only thing is that it is so well insulated that i have to keep the lid off for about an hour until it freezes well enough to cover or it does not get firm. I had to cover it with wrap until it freezes then put on the lid.“

Perfect ice cream containers

These containers are awesome. They hold a lot but take up only a little space in your freezer. Magic!

Perfect for what I need and excellent customer service

When it comes down to it; a product may be good but its customer service makes it great, and this is the case with SUMO. So, first off the product itself....I bought two of the 1.5qt containers for homemade sorbet / ice cream. The container is a "double wall" type container. The inner container can be removed from the outer container for easy cleaning and I'm guessing it stops condensation from forming as well. Another little "nice thing to have" is the rubber base that keeps the container in place when scooping. So, for me this is the perfect container now that we're making sorbet / sherbert / ice cream etc at home.

Second, one of the lids was slightly warped so it would not seal the container completely. I called customer service, who, without hesitation, sent me a replacement tub. I only needed the lid but they sent an entire new container. I wasn't trying to get something for nothing, so when you stand behind your product without question, that makes me your customer every time I need a product like this and I will tell others the same (which is the point of this review).

Folks; the product is a good product; right priced and they stand behind their product. If this is what you're looking for, spend your money here.

Perfect Scoop and Perfect Fit

I bought these containers for my parents because they wanted to try their hand in ice cream making. They really loved these containers, found them durable, and create a perfect scoop. They also made a comment that the contents from the ice cream maker fit perfectly into the container, so there is never any left over and does not overfill. They very rarely say nice things about products, so thought I'd share these are parent-approved.

Great for ice cream.

This container holds a lot of ice cream (2.5 Qts) in a shape that makes scooping easy. No problems with the product and it arrived quickly after ordering.
