“I bought it to put my ice cream in when i make homemade ice cream. it fits nice in the door of my freezer. I should have bought two though. I didn't realize i'd get so much ice cream out of such a little cream and milk. The only thing is that it is so well insulated that i have to keep the lid off for about an hour until it freezes well enough to cover or it does not get firm. I had to cover it with wrap until it freezes then put on the lid.“

I like it

This is a nice size ice cream container. The inside is rounded, so you don't have to fight with the last bit of ice cream stuck in the corner, trying to get it out with a rounded scoop. I like that it's narrow, so it will fit in a small freezer. It seems to be made well. The one thing I don't like is that it's not air tight.

Good when you get what you ordered

Edit: We contacted SUMO on the email they provide with the product. Sent the same pictures we have here and asked them if we should go through Amazon to get this sorted. They explained that Amazon does 100% of their distribution, so they don't understand what went wrong with our order. They reimbursed us for the 1 wrong/broken tub and sent us a new one to replace it.
I Gotta say, fantastic customer service, above and beyond what we expected. This saved us the hassle of explaining to Amazon that 1 out of the 2 was wrong, replacing the whole thing, etc. We were already happy with the SUMO containers, now we are also happy with their level of customer service.

We had previously bought sumo ice cream containers and were happy with them so we ordered this x2.
We got 1 sumo, and one fancyclancy.
I will get Amazon to reimburse me since this is not what we ordered. Also realized the fancyclancy tub was broken.

Not certain if the cover is a flaw yet....

Just loaded my first batch of homemade ice cream into this container. Was a bit disappointed that the cover didn't snap on or in; the cover just seems to fit down on the top. Fine if the container is stored upright, but not certain how secure it will be if tipped. Time will tell.

Otherwise, the container appears to be very nicely made. Double walled. I left it in the freezer empty overnight to have it good and cold. The elongated design definitely made it easy to fill and to scoop out.

Nice ice cream containers

I like how they are easy to open and close. They stack well and don’t take up too much space in the freezer. Wish they were a bit wider. Putting in ice cream takes some care.
