Ice Cream Container

The lid, outer, and inner tub parts are made from a polypropylene plastic. The grip at the bottom of the outer tub is made from a material known as thermoplastic elastomer rubber. All of these materials are completely free of BPA.

Many customers find it a little easier to lightly squeeze the outer tub in the middle while pulling out the inner container. You're also very welcome to place the entire container in the dishwasher without first separating it — it's unlikely for the vacuum area to become dirty.

The container is made of a BPA-free plastic and could theoretically be microwaved, but we wouldn't recommend it. Instead, take the container out a little early to thaw at room temperature — and of course, we'd recommend reaching for a SUMO ice cream scoop.
