“I bought it to put my ice cream in when i make homemade ice cream. it fits nice in the door of my freezer. I should have bought two though. I didn't realize i'd get so much ice cream out of such a little cream and milk. The only thing is that it is so well insulated that i have to keep the lid off for about an hour until it freezes well enough to cover or it does not get firm. I had to cover it with wrap until it freezes then put on the lid.“

Better Bargain Than Using Paper Dessert Storage

I normally use the paper frozen dessert storage containers. They are pricey and not very good at keeping your ice cream from getting freezer burn. Plus the ice cream would be too hard. With the SUMO ice cream containers, I can make two quarts of ice cream. They fit great in the freezer and only need 15 - 20 minutes to soften the ice cream. I recommend these containers if you make a lot of frozen desserts and want an inexpensive alternative to the paper storage containers.

Well thought out features! Ideal!

This is exactly what I was looking for! The 1.5 quart storage, is ideal for the batches of ice cream I make at home. The longer/ narrow “footprint” is perfect in my freezer. The inside insert is very rounded & very “slick” texture, so makes scooping a breeze. No corners to clean! I am very happy with my purchase.

If you make your own ice cream, buy this.

I first ordered one container and liked it so much that I ordered four more. This is a way an ice cream container should be designed. The long narrow design is ideal for getting the ice cream out of the container.
