“I bought it to put my ice cream in when i make homemade ice cream. it fits nice in the door of my freezer. I should have bought two though. I didn't realize i'd get so much ice cream out of such a little cream and milk. The only thing is that it is so well insulated that i have to keep the lid off for about an hour until it freezes well enough to cover or it does not get firm. I had to cover it with wrap until it freezes then put on the lid.“

Nice design.

I'm on a homemade ice cream kick - and these containers work well for storing my 1.5 quart servings. They are designed well - scooping out the ice cream is convenient with the slender shape, and the double walled construction helps minimize ice crystals from forming. Now if I can figure out a sure-fire way to eliminate rock-hard ice-cream without using vegetable glycerin, things would be perfect. The 2-3 tablespoons of vodka I add to the ice cream helps somewhat but a truly scoopable homemade ice cream is difficult to achieve. Anyhow, these containers work very well for storing and serving homemade treats.
