This looked like such a great idea, but I find it lacking in several areas. The lid doesn't fit tightly and their very own ice cream scoop scratches it easily due to the design, a pointed scooping end. The narrowness is also fairly inconvenient. Doesn't work for me at all. It didn't seal and allowed my sorbet to crystallize which was very annoying after my hard work. I also found it inconvenient to use in general. I have other containers that are better suited to the task and seal well.

Spectacular tubs! These containers make it so much easier to get ice cream into them just after making it in my ice cream maker. The ice cream was also easy to scoop out, making beautiful round scoops. Having made two batches at a time, we also appreciated that the ice cream was ice crystal free after two weeks. Much better than using a bread loaf pan!

Ice cream froze rock hard so I don't think the insulation did much in that regard. Otherwise, they are nice containers for storing in the refrigerator. One thing I think keeps them from being good for ice cream is the lid is not seal tight.
