“I bought it to put my ice cream in when i make homemade ice cream. it fits nice in the door of my freezer. I should have bought two though. I didn't realize i'd get so much ice cream out of such a little cream and milk. The only thing is that it is so well insulated that i have to keep the lid off for about an hour until it freezes well enough to cover or it does not get firm. I had to cover it with wrap until it freezes then put on the lid.“

Great Product for keeping your homemade ice cream scoopable

this is my 3rd SUMO ice cream container - I really love this brand and style because it keeps my homemade ice cream from getting crystallized. icy and hard. I love the colors they come in too. Very easy to clean and store in my packed freezer = slides right in above my ice containers.

Sturdy, Easy Open, Love the Purple, But Not Big Enough for 2.2 Quarts

I love how this container is made to fit into the freezer door. The fun purple color is refreshing too. It's sturdy enough to handle how rock solid homemade ice cream gets. I only wish it were large enough to hold the entire contents of a 2.2 quart ice cream maker. I always have to find another small freezer-safe cup to contain the rest of my ice cream batch. I'm still considering buying another one. I wish there were more colors. I only like the purple and blue. What about raspberry, forest green, or teal?

Just not practical

Gets freezer burn very easily. Also, the ice cream froze so solid, that even if I let it sit for 15 min it still was too hard to dish out. I would not buy this again, nor recommend it to anyone else to buy. I read that some had problems with the lid not snapping on and sealing properly. I didn't have that problem, but I purchased a different quart freezer container that screwed on.

Great for home made ice cream

This is perfect for my new ice cream making passion with my KitchenAid. It is the perfect size and the lid snaps on tight for the curing. Probably going to need another one.
