“I bought it to put my ice cream in when i make homemade ice cream. it fits nice in the door of my freezer. I should have bought two though. I didn't realize i'd get so much ice cream out of such a little cream and milk. The only thing is that it is so well insulated that i have to keep the lid off for about an hour until it freezes well enough to cover or it does not get firm. I had to cover it with wrap until it freezes then put on the lid.“

Does in fact hold 1.5 quarts

It looked so sleek and slimline when I received it that I didn’t believe it held 1.5 quarts but it does - I measured! I haven’t made ice cream yet but I will update when I do. So far, happy with the product.

Very good choice for storing ice cream

I like everything about this ice cream container. I would like it a lot more with actual insulation, like the gel lining the canister in my ice cream maker or the beer mug in my freezer. That's what I was actually looking for but was unable to find. Homemade ice cream still melts too fast when you have transport it, as in to a picnic or something similar. If you guys make something like that, I'll be all over it.

I bought two of these to try them out and ended up buying another two because they work so well!
