“I bought it to put my ice cream in when i make homemade ice cream. it fits nice in the door of my freezer. I should have bought two though. I didn't realize i'd get so much ice cream out of such a little cream and milk. The only thing is that it is so well insulated that i have to keep the lid off for about an hour until it freezes well enough to cover or it does not get firm. I had to cover it with wrap until it freezes then put on the lid.“

UPDATE: Despite rare flaw, definitely worth a try!

These were purchased to replace my plastic restaurant quality quart containers. I love how I can color code my home made ice cream flavors and the containers are very sturdy. They fit perfectly in my freezer! Sadly, they don’t seal as air tight as the others and as a result, the ice cream loses its creamy texture and turns icy instead. I tried troubleshooting this with multiple batches even using different ice cream makers. UPDATE: The company reached out to me regarding this review. They stand by their lifetime guarantee and have reported my issue to the manufacturer. Likewise, they’ve given the option for a refund or to send replacement containers. I recommend trying these containers- the company, Yuca, was responsive, professional and helpful!
