We just purchased an ice cream maker and had been putting it into cheap containers. There is a big improvement in the texture the ice cream gets when frozen in this versus just grabbing whatever container you have around. It is pretty large so if you have limited freezer space keep that in mind, but it works great. Ice cream only lasts a day in our house anyway so no problem for us!

You'd certainly need these if you're making homemade ice cream. They're great to have to store several flavors and their long shape make it easy to create the perfect scoop.

We've used this for a few weeks, and it is the perfect solution for storing homemade ice cream. I do put a layer of plastic wrap over the top before closing to ensure freshness.

The size is perfect for the size batches I make. So reviews have mentioned issues with the lid, I haven't had any yet. The ice cream doesn't freeze solid, so it stays creamy and scoops out easily.
