The item is great. Stores ice cream perfectly with no ice crystals or freezer burn even after three weeks in freezer. Customer service is amazing. I dropped the container on the concrete patio....and of course right on the lid handle. It broke. I emailed the company to ask about buying a replacement lid as I did not see any option to purchase. Company insisted on sending me a replacement lid feee of charge. I told them that was not necessary since I am the one who dropped it. The insistent they stood by their product.

Honestly, we had just been storing our homemade ice cream in tupperware containters and thought that was perfectly fine. On a whim, decided to pay for what we thought was this overpriced product.
I have to say, it keeps your ice cream the perfect temperature, and you can actually get a perfectly round scoops of ice cream. It sounds silly but it really is a perfect container for your ice cream. We are considering purchasing a second one to freeze another batch of ice cream when one is running low... just wish it held a bit more ice cream!
