“I bought it to put my ice cream in when i make homemade ice cream. it fits nice in the door of my freezer. I should have bought two though. I didn't realize i'd get so much ice cream out of such a little cream and milk. The only thing is that it is so well insulated that i have to keep the lid off for about an hour until it freezes well enough to cover or it does not get firm. I had to cover it with wrap until it freezes then put on the lid.“

LIDS DON'T SNAP DOWN - OTHERWISE GOOD

I bought several kinds of these -- They all look the same but are different. The Tovolo (other brand) I like best. The lid snaps down tightly which is nice if it tips over and it likely seals it better. These are similar in appearance, size and make however these lids don't snap down -- they are loose fitting. Not the best in my mind.

This is just like my daughter’s ice cream containers. They’re the perfect containers for our homemade ice cream, since they prevent it from turning to solid ice!

Prefect in my tight freezer

I have looked for ice cream storage containers before and talked myself out of them. I have used reg plastic in the past for it to break easy after freezing. When these came up and they are nice and narrow I knew I had the prefect place in my freezer for these. These seal nicely and I don't feel like it will pop off. I am really impressed and hope they will last for years!
