I love this ice cream storage container. It is a pretty color and it keeps my home made ice cream at the perfect level of frozen without any freezer burn. I purchased 2 SUMO containers and they stack nicely and take up very little space in my freezer. My only wish would be for a 2Qt size.

This tub is a nice shape as far as storage and for scooping the ice cream.
The problem with it is the lid does NOT snap on or even press on tightly. When you put the lid on it can easily be bumped off. Like it is too loose. (the lid too small for the tub opening).
So, our ice cream doesn't seem to stay "fresh". After a few short days in the freezer the ice cream has ice crystal all over the top. I suspect from the loose lid.
This is NOT what we had hoped for with such an expensive item. We paid the higher price expecting a higher quality item than all the others, but to no avail.

Update: Changed rating to 5 stars>>> I received a new container from the seller and the new one actually has a better fitting lid. Not sure why the first one was loose. (lemon I guess). I feel good about the new one and it should keep ice cream less freezer burnt now.
