“I bought it to put my ice cream in when i make homemade ice cream. it fits nice in the door of my freezer. I should have bought two though. I didn't realize i'd get so much ice cream out of such a little cream and milk. The only thing is that it is so well insulated that i have to keep the lid off for about an hour until it freezes well enough to cover or it does not get firm. I had to cover it with wrap until it freezes then put on the lid.“

Great big size

The SUMO ice cream container 2.5 quart is a great big size. Perfect for making ice cream that you want to share. My maker makes about a quart at a time, this means I can make several batches and store them together. Vanilla and chocolate in one container, strawberry and peach in another. They take longer to thaw in these which is perfect for when I'm taking ice cream to a party. They are easy to scoop from and fit nicely into the freezer. They come apart for cleaning. Very happy with these.

Seems quality

Just got it. Put my first batch of ice cream in it. We'll see what the texture is in a few days. Hoping it is as good as it says.

Love this container

Purchased for homemade ice cream, it holds 1/2 gallon plus, is insulated and the shape is perfect for scooping ice cream, It also stores nicely in the freezer.

Have not used yet

What I like about this product is that it is two containers in one. To release the suction I inserted a very thin spoon between the two layers in the front. Than the same in the back, be very careful not too go to deep, and work loose. I'm sure when I make ice cream this container will do the trick.
