“I bought it to put my ice cream in when i make homemade ice cream. it fits nice in the door of my freezer. I should have bought two though. I didn't realize i'd get so much ice cream out of such a little cream and milk. The only thing is that it is so well insulated that i have to keep the lid off for about an hour until it freezes well enough to cover or it does not get firm. I had to cover it with wrap until it freezes then put on the lid.“

Better than expected

This thing makes homemade ice cream the freeze and settle perfectly. The containers are clearly durable and the design is amazing for scooping. I never leave reviews for stuff but this little kit has added a silver lining to the recent indoor "quarantine" experience.

Great tube for storing homemade ice cream. The lid fits a bit loosely.

I really like homemade ice cream, but have always had a problem finding a good way to store it once churned. This works very well. Because home churned ice cream has less air than commercial, it freezes up harder and is harder to scoop out than the commercial stuff. This container provides a very slick surface, so it releases the ice cream easier than the makeshift containers I've used previously. The shape also makes it easier to scoop from than those other things I've used (but not really easy unless you let it rest outside the freezer for a few minutes). I have one fairly minor issue and that is that the lid does not stay in place completely air tight, so the tub won't work well for long-term storage. Fortunately, my homemade ice cream never faces long term storage.

Love 'em

Work great. Ice cream stays cold and the right size to store and to get a scoop in. Just need to work out more to offset the extra calories from all the fresh ice cream. We did break the outer shell of one when it fell from the top of the freezer to the floor but the inside container is still fine - total user error and not a product floor at all. And easy to clean in the dishwasher.

Excellent buy

I make a lot of ice cream and always have a problem with "freezer burn" and fast thawing when its out of the freezer. These hold the perfect amount and solve both problems. Color coded as well, an added bonus.
